Sizing up?

I have been wanting a Schott 618 for years and am finally getting around to getting one. The website says to size up. I intend to wear it casually as well as when I ride. My wife measured me at a 41" chest and I currently wear an Alpinestars 42" jacket or 42" Dainese suit. This size is comfortable for me. Would getting the 618 in a 42" be the right size or do I need to size up further? (Not sure of any variances there might be in manufacture) Thanks in advance.

You will need to email customer service will help with sizing, as sizing and measurements can become too extensive to answer on the blog. Select the "Contact" option button at the top of page. On motorcycle styles your height and waist information are also needed to determine the jacket size you need. Other manufacture's sizing does not help in determining your jacket size, as their pattern measurements is unknown to compare to this jackets measurements. If you are tall you may need a long size, all M/C jackets taper in at the waist your waist size is also important. Gail
