I have a vintage horse hide jacket that's nearly 60 years old and while it's in great condition for it's age the leather seems stiff and dry. I was going to use Pecard leather dressing on it but does anyone have any other ideas that work? thanks!
Hello, I never use this product but I am always septic about waterproof wax for leather...the leather need to breath.
So, I use the SAPO cream: To apply the fat cremates nourishing Sapo, to rub above with a piece of cotton. Let dry, then polish. For thick, dried out leathers or shrivel, mass(massage) to make penetrate.it also save & protect the sewings.
Thanks for the info but it doesn't seem like this product is available in the USA. I've seen a few sites similar to this one where people have had really good luck with the Pecard product so I might try that. Thanks!
